By creating an account or otherwise using AI Resume Builder, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy and Security Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the service. These terms are between you and Cognifix Technologies Private Limited ("Cognifix Technologies", "we", "us").
You need an account to publish a resume or portfolio page. You must be at least 16 years old to use this service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you upload, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity that happens under your account.
You keep ownership of the resume, portfolio, and photo content you upload. By publishing a page, you grant Cognifix Technologies a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and publicly display that content at your chosen subdomain or connected custom domain, for as long as your account and published page remain active. You confirm you have the rights needed to upload the content and photos you provide (for example, that you own or are authorized to use any photo of yourself).
Don't use the service to: publish unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or abusive content; impersonate someone else or misrepresent your identity or qualifications; upload malware or attempt to disrupt the platform; scrape, resell, or rate-limit-bypass the service; or attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or data. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this section.
The built-in AI assistant helps you write and improve resume content. In managed mode, suggestions are generated using Cognifix-managed API access to third-party AI providers (currently OpenAI and Google) and are subject to a monthly message quota; in bring-your-own-key mode, your own API key is used instead and is sent directly with the request. AI output can be inaccurate or generic — you're responsible for reviewing and editing anything you publish. We don't guarantee the availability, accuracy, or fitness of AI-generated suggestions for any particular purpose.
Free accounts have reduced limits and no custom-domain support. Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual cycle through our payment processor, Razorpay; pricing and the current billing cycle are shown at checkout before you pay. You can cancel a paid plan at any time from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
Custom-domain support lets you point a domain you own at your published page. You're responsible for owning or controlling the domain and for keeping its DNS records pointed correctly; we don't register or manage domain names on your behalf. We may un-link a custom domain that stops resolving correctly, is used to publish content that violates Section 4, or is disputed by a third party.
The AI Resume Builder name, logo, resume templates, and underlying software are owned by Cognifix Technologies (or licensed to us) and are protected by intellectual-property law. These terms don't grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding outside of the pages you publish through the service.
The service relies on third-party infrastructure and providers — including Supabase (authentication and database), Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, and file storage), Razorpay (payments), and AI providers such as OpenAI and Google. Your use of features backed by these providers is also subject to their own terms, and we're not responsible for outages or issues originating on their side.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any resume outcome (interviews, offers, etc.) will result from using it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cognifix Technologies won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or ₹5,000 if you're on a free plan.
You agree to indemnify and hold Cognifix Technologies harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or third party's rights.
You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law, with notice where practical. On termination, your published page stops resolving and your data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, subject to Section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or the service will first be attempted to be resolved informally by contacting support@airesumebuilder.app; if that fails, the dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having authority over Cognifix Technologies Private Limited's registered location.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date, and where required we'll give you more direct notice (for example, by email).
