Your email address (for login and account notices); the resume, portfolio, and photo content you enter or upload; billing information handled by our payment processor (we don't store full card numbers ourselves); and basic usage data such as AI assistant message counts, used for quota enforcement and abuse prevention.
We use a small number of cookies on the marketing site and the app itself: strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in (set by Supabase Auth) and to remember your cookie choice. We don't currently use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. When you first visit, you can choose Accept All, Essential Only, or Reject All from the cookie banner; you can change that choice at any time via the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer. Published resume pages ({username}.airesumebuilder.app or your connected custom domain) don't carry any of our cookies — they're read-only pages meant to be shared with third parties like recruiters.
To render your published page at your chosen subdomain or custom domain, operate the editor and autosave, enforce plan and quota limits, process billing through Razorpay, send account-related email (confirmation, password reset, billing receipts), and keep the service secure and free of abuse.
We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use your resume content to train AI models. If you use your own API key with the AI assistant, that key is used only for the request in flight and is never stored or logged by our servers.
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the platform: Supabase (database and authentication), Cloudflare (hosting, CDN, and R2 file storage), Razorpay (payment processing), and — only when you use the AI assistant — the AI provider handling that request. We don't share your data with data brokers or advertisers. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Cognifix Technologies or our users.
When you use the AI assistant, the resume content and job description you provide are sent to the selected AI provider (OpenAI or Google, in managed mode; whichever provider you configure, in bring-your-own-key mode) solely to generate a response. That data is subject to the provider's own privacy policy and retention practices, which we don't control.
We keep your account and resume data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data and uploaded photos within 30 days, except where we're required to retain records for longer (for example, billing records for tax and accounting purposes).
We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted transport, database-level access control, and hashed password storage — to protect your data. See our Security page for details on how this is implemented.
You can edit or delete your resume content and photos at any time from the dashboard, and delete your account entirely by contacting support. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to request a copy of your data, request correction of inaccurate data, object to certain processing, or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.
Our infrastructure providers operate global networks, so your data may be processed or stored in a country other than your own. Where this involves a transfer out of the EEA, UK, or similar jurisdictions, we rely on our providers' own compliance mechanisms (such as standard contractual clauses) for that transfer.
The service is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
